This photo is taken in our garden, and I loved how it came out as I saw it on my PC.
The Latin name of this dragonfly is: Libellula depressa
Dutch: Platbuik Libel.

I've just had to chase that bloody alien couple days ago. It didn't understand any of those three languages I asked it to go out of my room.., happily it went out through the window while I was trying a fourth language to ask it to leave..
At least the big eyes alien didn't ruin my wifi frequencies...😂

wonderful macro. each day there are many dragonflies flying around my house. probably for water from sprinkling systems

I can try to catch one but it makes no sense, their short life span would not allow it survive if I sent you one by posting.
Even if it would make it/survive, you would have to wait for it with large food quantities and that might be quite expensive..😊
I always try to send them back in the nature..😂
