Description
"Shush!" The Cat Girl hissed. "Do you hear that?" She felt her hackles begin to rise. "I think it's coming!" She dropped to the main floor and waved her torch in the direction of the sound. "And there it is!"
Jorl waved his torch provocatively as well. "Mind yer dinna crowd me, child! We stays apart and keeps teh torches in teh ugly buggers face. Keeps it confused like, until thet bleedin' rodent gets teh scroll inter it!"
Sir Squeaker emerged from a hiding place near the throne in the central sepulcher and swallowed. "Here we go!" he murmured.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 12.0.757 with Superfly Cycles 2 and tweaked in Photoshop for a bit of glow (spectral bloom) and vignette. The Catgirl is based on A3, the Dwarf and the Iron Golem are stand alone figures by Sixus1. The setting is from Cybertenko.

Impressive character work here, well done!
Thank you! These characters have really grown on me over the course of this series of pictures and underlying story! =)
Molly
Wonderfully well judged pov and light, real sense of dramatic jeopardy
Thank you so much, Joe. I'm always experimenting with PoV and lighting to try to get a better feeling of excitement and realism. =)

Molly
great lighting and point of view. this has a good feeling of drama and excitement.
Thank you so much, my dear. Getting down to Sir Squeaker's PoV is an interesting exercise and I think it added a lot of excitement to the picture!

Used to fight them when i played D&D years ago. Terrific fantasy_ mythology work with awesome lighting.
Thank you, my dear. As I have remarked before the fantasy genre is new to me and lighting in dark places a challenge. I like to think I'm getting the hang of both. XD

Things seem to be getting a little intense here.. Killer lighting in this work, Molly! Great job on it!
Thanks, Rod. As noted elsewhere, I'm getting better with dim lighting situations. It's a journey. XD
Molly
Very tense emotions expressed here! Very well staged and realized image and splendid story continuation! A most excellent work, my friend! Many splendid praises from me!
Thank you, my dear. I'm getting close to the ending of this first story of the Odd Couple, but I expect that I'll do more stories and pictures of them. Hopefully the next installment will be up sometime next week when I've solved a PoV issue with it. =)
Molly
More good lighting and great POV - lots of colors. All of it.

Thanks, JD!
