Description
Today I wanted to make a fractal for a friend of many, including me.
Someone who teaches me to look through his marvelous artist's eye, someone who knows how to express his feelings and insight for art, down to the finesse.
Mark doesn't make it easy for himself, and I also think that it costs him a lot of energy, now that there are health problems.
Dear Mark, I hope that the rays of this tree will reach you there in Chicago, rays that embrace you and cherish you, and that its energy will heat you.
I would say, rest under this tree, no obligations, just peace and tranquility.
Sending you blessings, love, light, and all the power you need to completely heal.
Mark, you are special.

thank you so much, Jacomina, your words moved me deeply. And your image moved me deeply too. I actually have a sprained back (which you know about by now), which is why I'm a few days late. But I saw your upload as soon as the ebot arrived, and it touched me very much. My years of study gave me words about the arts, so I try to use them as well as I can. And I guess that being a writer helps, too...But thank you for appreciating them so much, and for understanding that I can become exhausted from my activity...you've always understood that, and I appreciate that greatly. Especially because you've been through so much in your own life, with struggles I couldn't imagine...So my deepest thanks and love, Jacomina. This touched me deeply.
The fractal is awash in deep warm oranges and golds---it's a rich autumn image. This tree radiates honey-like tones...and rich late-day autumn tones. And, as you do in all your fractals, you created a deep center, filled with energies and mysteries; and it radiates outward into webs of crossing lines. It's almost like a quilt. Crossing seams...or crossing roads, which radiate into infinity. Your fractals are always so intense and radiant. And they're always so warm. Thank you for wanting this tree to "embrace and cherish" me: I appreciate that deeply. It's a beautiful image with your beautiful words and feelings, and I thank you very much.
