Description
"Sometimes you have to lose yourself to find yourself."
Hello friends. I know I disappeared for a while. You know how it is, life has its ups and downs, and every now and then the downs come back.
Nothing serious, I just needed to take a little break from things, including Rendo and the 3D world. I hope to be back soon with my colorful images, in the meantime I just wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone.
This render is accompanied by Sound of Silence once again, the original version this time (elleque if you are there, this is for you).
Also, I came across some quotes that I found quite fitting so leaving one of them here too:
"Sometimes you have to lose yourself, make a run for it like you’re running for your life and there’s nothing wrong with that. Run as fast as you can. When you are ready to come back, I hope you meet yourself here after the breaking, in the center of your own heart and I hope you believe it more than anything you’ve ever believed in. I hope you come back holding your own hand, completely whole and utterly content with you and you alone in the eye of your own storm; wholeheartedly knowing you are enough for yourself when the world falls empty."

Knowing and understanding yourself is an amazing strength!
It is, and it's also a constant struggle, one that is never easy but fortunately it can become more manageable over time.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving your thoughts.
I'm so sorry you've had some struggles to deal with, but I do hope things are starting to look up for you. Poignant portrait, and I love how the backlighting contributes to the reflective mood. So glad to see a new artwork from you!! :-)
Thank you so much Amy!!! It seems like things are finally starting to pick up, thank you! And I really appreciate you stopping by, I love reading your thoughts. A big hug <3
Fine image and atmosphere..
Thank you!
i come to talk with you again. one of my favorite tunes. superb feeling in this.
Thank you Steve ! I love both this and the Disturbed cover, they are both so emotional and touching each in their own way.
Marvelous song and marvelous illustration. Hope things will get better in you life asap.
Thank you so much Gaius! Things are already picking up so I hope to be more active soon.
Thank you! This is beautiful! I don't understand the meaning of the lyrics well. But, I think this song has something very energetic in its quietness. So I'm sure the girl in the image will become positive.
Thank you elleque! I remember you saying in my last image that you preferred the original version to the Disturbed cover so I thought I would use it in this render. She will definitely become positive, she is a fighter!!! Have a lovely weekend!
A moving render.
Thank you, it means a lot to me.
A beautiful appealing image, I like it very much!
This is a really moving portrait, especially when tied to the lyrics of "Sounds of Silence"; the original has always been a favorite of mine. I hope things will go your way and that you will be around sharing art soon. You are a most talented individual who inspires me to improve my technique both in story-telling and rendering. Thank you for sharing this!
Molly
