Description
This Swallowtail I spotted in our front garden, flying very fast from flower to flower.
In the last photo his wings moved very quickly.
This butterfly isn't often seen here anymore.
In Dutch: Koninginnepage.
Thank you very much for your look, dear friends.

Superb shot. These are terrible pilots, few days ago I saw him in my garden. I hope he didn't cheat.., jets are quite common nowadays from what I've read in the news..
Outstanding work!
Beautiful set of images!
Bloemen en vlinders, altijd een spuper mooi combinatie !!!
Lovely, I look forward to when the butterflies arrive in our garden, saw my first one yesterday but was on a call so could not step out for photos. I have the same flower as you growing outside my window. I have no idea what it is called, it just showed up one day and now has spread itself to a few areas of the garden. It's a lovely flower and stays in bloom for so long. I'm happy it 'volunteered'.
Very nice series Jacomina.
The third shot is amazing, because most of the butterfly is a blur of quickly-moving wings. It looks like it's about to fly away---maybe it was finished with that flower...
The second shot is gorgeous: It looks like you used very subtle and gentle postwork on it, because the greens and flowers seem gently graphic. And the butterfly is as clear and beautiful as can be.
Finally, the first image is amazing: I love it! The butterfly is in complete harmony with the diagonal of the flowers. and we see its back hairs, and those deep purple-red flower petals. The flowers pop off the page.
A stunning set of photos, with a beautiful butterfly as their "star"...
Thank you so much for your lovely words, my friend. I didn't do post work, I've just cut the photos to the right format. Yikes, sometimes it takes way too long before I'm ready with this I've periods then I doubt everything.
once in a great while, they can be seen here. seldom do they stay in one place long. wonderful macro
