I just wanted to let everyone know…. My posting and commenting is going to be pretty spotty / off-and-on for a while. With my brother-in-law’s continuing medical roller-coaster of ups and downs, us helping and supporting his wife (my sis-in-law), our two nieces, along with all the other stuff we’re trying to do, it's kind of given my creativity a karate kick in the short & curlies. He’s been in the hospital continuously for the last month and a half. He had to have a third surgery last Monday to fix a loose pin / screw in his hip that broke and started all this. It was a several hour surgery, and when the surgeon came out to talk to us afterward, his report was not good. Bill has a lot of issues going on in addition to the hip problem. He’s been diabetic for several years, and it’s taken its toll. He’s in ICU now, but he seems to be doing better. We saw him for a while today, and he was talking and reacting to his environment, but he’s just worn out from everything. He fell asleep shortly after we got there, but that’s the best thing for him right now. We met a long-time friend for dinner this evening – it’s our 51st anniversary. That was a nice break in all the stuff going on. Anyway, I’ll be catching up on comments the next day or so, and if I’m out for a few days, I’ll catch up as I can.
