Description
This is a macro photo of California poppy (Eschscholzia californica)
In Dutch: Slaapmutsje.
Met DDG I did a style from a fractal over it.
Thank you very much for your look, dear friends.

This came out so well! Excellent!
beautiful!
I love that you gave us both views: The original beams with orange-reds. Poppies are explosive flowers. (Georgia O'Keeffe painted some of the most powerful poppies in all of art. Van Gogh made them jump off the canvas too...) These are bursting with color. And I love the background---it has an almost Japanese feeling. Plus, the white on the left is a wonderful contrast.
Then your processed version: It looks almost like an aerial view of a city. Wonderful tiny sections (like neighborhoods in a city), and all kinds of architectural and organic detail in the poppies. The poppies are now much darker, with gold accents. And the far left is like a print. This is terrific, Jacomina. I love to see the original alongside the processed version: It shows how far you took it. Beautiful work, and as with all your work, full size is wonderful. Once again, I wish you all the best, and I hope your health is holding on. Much healing in every way, both now and in the future.
