At the Oscars a comedian made fun of a women who had to remove all her hair.
It is her decision, her live.
There was no need for violence at all ... instead people should know what is not fun.

Let me tell you a story (that actually happened). There once was a young woman with very long, straight and beautiful hair down to her bum. She was well-known in her small town for being "that girl with the very long hair". Everyone said that she's very beautiful and many men in the town cast an eye at her. Then, one day, she shaved off her hair and was going completely bald. After this she said the reason for shaving her head bald was because she wanted to show people that true beauty doesn't depend on hair and because she doesn't want to be called "that girl with the very long hair" anymore. However, now she's well-known in her small town for being "that girl with the bald head" and she's struggling to find a boyfriend. In the end, she didn't show people what true beauty is, but she instead did show them how stupid she is!
Nope, she was not stupid. And if no one likes her in that town the way she is, than those people are not interested in her as a person. As none of them ever saw beyond the surface, no one ever saw what really matters.
Anyway, may be she went better of without and left the town to meet people that know what matters in a person.
She moved to another town, but she was still struggling to find a boyfriend. Meanwhile she regrets her decision to shave her head bald and is growing it back.

In Iran women burn these days their head scarfs and cut of their hair. As sign of protest. Even outside Iran women join their side and cut of their hair.
A kid lost her hair during cancer treatment. At that moment hair is the last thing you care fore - you want her/him to survive cancer.
