This looks like a serious portrait of a woman of God who has seen and absorbed alot of pain in her long service..........but then I see what appears to be a Nike "Swoosh"on her collar-the look on her face is haunting-and on top of all that I've never heard of Tamara. It is an excellent work......puzzling......the name Lempicka does posess a humorous twang to it.
I too was confused by the nike swoosh.. what is it actually? Amazing depiction of a world worn face and tired eyes.
Fabulous work, as always!
The look of agony on her face is gripping. Thanks for pointing out this artist. A search for her name turned up a lot of interesting stuff. Very interesting all around-good work.
beautiful work, glen!!! ;o)
Great work... very El Greco. Great colors and concept, I can almost smell the oil paint...
always loved your postworkings on a zbrush image. The sadness in her weary eyes is as stunning now as it was when I first saw this wonderful image.
