Description
I turned down most of my lights and gazed at the coruscating energy fields in her apparel. "Cool, isn't it?" she grinned. "It's alive you know; an alien that I bonded to some time ago. Between us we can do some pretty amazing things!"
Worried for the physical integrity of my studio building I warned, "That's OK... just keep posing and no fireworks, OK?"
"Too bad," she smiled again after a brief pout.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 12.0.757 and tweaked in Photoshop. The character is based on La Femme with modifications by Tempesta3d. The setting is by Afrodite-Ohki. The Space Queen outfit (which I envision as an alien merged in symbiotic fashion with Katsumi) is also by Tempesta3d.

Cool symbiotic alien "outfit"! It does looks a bit more organic or even "alive" than your ordinary, everyday outfit, so I like your idea and the way you've set it up to appear bioluminescent. Cute pose and expression, and I like seeing the various views in the mirror!
Thanks, Amy. I like the mirror prop from Afrodite-Ohki and thought it would work well here although I needed to edit the texture slightly to make it as reflective as I wanted. I like this picture a bit more than the other one I did of the character as I dimmed most of the lighting in the scene to let the luminescence of the costume stand out more. There are some story possibilities here but I've got so many other things cooking... >.<
Stand by for more Odd Couple and Lena and Gregor as well as a little story in comic book style. XD

Ive been busy making stuff, so I haven't had a chance to play with the Space Queen yet (SO COOL) and I love, love your explanation for the organic look of the outfit!! Because of course that is what it is!! The mirror is such a good idea to see it in 360 too!

Nice to see this character again, great pose and scene... obviously you've put some time and effort into the luminescence of her symbiotic biological interaction between two different biological organisms...!! really shows...much improved from your previous image...
Still looking forward to seeing if you manage to light a scene with just emission of light from her body...i know you enjoy a good challenge...!! lovely work, always a pleasure to view...!
Thank you , DG! I'm still creeping toward lighting a scene purely with her bioluminescence and maybe this scene is a transition getting closer to that. I've got a lot of irons in the fire, as it were, but I'm planning on more with Space Queen. =)

Thanks! I'm still trying to flesh out a character for her but I'm thinking the alien she has a symbiotic relationship with is quite brash and that has increased her confidence and impulsive behaviors. I like working out details and stories as much as I do rendering the illustrations from them. =D

Thank you! I don't know what version of Poser you use but she works fine in Poser 11 although I mostly use Poser 12. She'd probably work in earlier versions as well as her materials are not locked in to Superfly. =)
