Superb imagination! My place omits spring and summer is about to come. Do mushrooms like summer? Ah he has a big parasol.

Ha! Ditto Wolf (and others): A wooden tree god, decked out with another shroom hat (or crown), and Roman laurels, and a flower or two...sitting looking like he's disgusted with the snow gods, and is holding his tongue for fear of starting a brawl. the surrouding looks like a photo that you've compiled from smaller photo-parts---it's a wonderful background. I love that flowers are blooming in the snow (spring's not far off!), but there's also the drab tangled dead leaves of winter. Well, the poet said "April is the cruelest month..." ("breeding lilacs out of the dead land..." TS Eliot)...and it sure can be. (Your state and mine.) Your tree god has made his feelings known...Another delight from you: I love that tree dude. You fit him into the tree and old stump effortlessly.

Nice work with the mushroom man... he seems kind of grumpy about the snow on the ground. I love the whole composition and certainly agree with the sentiment! Thank you for sharing!

Fantastic looking one dear Barb!
Your new image, as well as all the others, are all very beautiful. Unfortunately, for health reasons I am not able to leave a comment on each one and hope for your understanding.

Fantastic image! The dried out old mushroom king is getting tired of waiting for his replacement? Excellent art! Bravo!

Good question!! I love how you brought all these elements together to create such an expressive mushroom man, looking disgruntled at the spring snow!
