I've been having so much trouble thinking about what to render first with my new toy/tool. I finally decided that I could use a new avatar for my social media stuff. So, I created this spring-themed portrait to use for my avatars. Normally I would have had to let a scene like this render overnight (the original render is much larger than what you see here) but it only took well under two hours with my new GPU! Amazing! Now to figure out what to render next…

She's beautiful, and the lighting is so lovely! Sounds like your new graphics card is MUCH faster, so I look forward to seeing what else you produce with it, now that you don't have to plan for such long render times! I have to confess, the longest I have ever waited for a final render was maybe an hour and a half (and that includes 4k renders with IDL enabled). Something tells me that I'm going to need to develop some patience to render in Superfly! What a lovely set of textures for the PrettyD dress, too!
Well, to be fair, it's not so much that Superfly renders slowly, it's more that I use complex shaders, subdivided models and high render settings plus I render large images at 300ppi. So, that's part of the reason renders take so long. :) I've had Firefly renders take all-night or longer too. One with a field of dandelions and floating seeds took nearly two days. Just depends on what's in the scene. Also, thank you! I'm glad you like the portrait. :D

She looks great Lizzie, and the lighting here is gorgeous! It has the feel of her looking out a window and contemplating what the new spring / summer season will bring. Hopefully more light to balance out the darkness.
