Ha! Love it---a fire-breathing dragon is scared to death from a cat! And the cat's not doing anything! (Great cat---all fuzzy and cuddly.) I love how the dragon is wound around the lamp pole, clutching it for dear life. I gotta say, in the last two uploads, cats have come out of it looking pretttttty damn good! One image has a warrior doing major war moves on a cat who's merely gazing...and this one's got a dragon, raced to the top of a lamppost, grabbing it like it's it's last refuge, and probably wishing the post were 20 feet taller, all over an innocent kitty as if it's the Roman Legions. Great piece, Barb! And your background---it's like London in Charles Dickens' day: dark, mysterious, foreboding, and foggy. (Love the mists.) And the lamppost is continued in a swirling shadow. Also I love the lights' gentle flare...and I think---I think---you have constellations in the sky. (The big dipper? Things like that? Maybe it's just coincidence; but, in your pieces, anything is possible...) Delightful! You must know some mighty cats---like the rabbit in 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' who can kill whole armies, these cats can scare off anything. Terrific!

It was such an unexpected image that it made me smile! I love the interaction between the cat and the dragon which is, perhaps, turned on it's head as usually one imagines a dragon being the dominant creature. Thank you for sharing! =D

I know sometimes cats can seem intimidating, but this one seems downright ferocious! LOL! A truly funny and splendid scene! Love the dragon's pose and the look on the cat's face! Such an excellent setting as well! A truly marvelous artistic achievement!

Is the dragon afraid of the cat? I doubt it. I think he's saying, 'betcha can't do this'.
