Description
I've addec some rather nice Wombo Dream versions later in my gallery
Vicky 4 using my tried and trusted recipe:
Start with an interesting texture map. I like mix-and-match, so I use Michael 4 textures on Vicky and vice versa. This is my favourite, one of the Freak 4 textures.
Forget about bump and/or normals - go for displacement ! (Needs a lot of work to get it right though, especially where face and torso texture maps meet)
Use SnarleyGribbley's EZSkin. (Since I'm still on Poser 11 it's EZSkin 2 and FireFly)
Use bagginsbill's eye shaders (I included my own version of these in a freebie I uploaded to ShareCG "Poser 9 Mouth And Eye Shaders For DAZ Generation 4")
(As a shortcut I keep a version of V4 with all of the above already set up)
A black backdrop
A single point light positioned to give some light/shadow and provide a nice reflection in her eyes.
A low intensity infinite light pointing the same way as the camera to make sure the shadowed parts of her face are visible

Interesting character study! She certainly looks like she has some stories to tell! I like the idea behind your mix-and-match approach :-)
Unfortunately I've never managed to get hair or clothing looking as I want, hence the lack of either in this picture.
P.S. The basics for all my generation 4 mix-and-match are 3 ShareCG freebies - Sparky's "M4-V4 Remap", Kattey's "Kids 4 M4V4Textures Remap", and araneldon's "Mix K4M4V4 morphs". This is what I noted down regarding them:
araneldon's Mix K4M4V4 morphs - basically a very small CR2 file (it's the 'M4channels.pz2' that's the important stuff)
readScript ":Runtime:Libraries:Character:DAZ People:The Kids 4.cr2" readScript ":Runtime:Libraries:Morphs:araneldon:M4channels.pz2" readScript ":Runtime:Libraries:Morphs:araneldon:V4channels.pz2" }
To use V4 UVs on M4 you just need a version of the 'blMilMan_m4b.obj' but with V4 UVs (mine is '!blMilMan_m4b+V4UV.obj'), and you need to change the two 'figureResFile' lines in the CR2 to use this. Also works between other figures that use the same mesh, e.g. Kids 4, V4, M4.
