A fittingly ambiguous and mysterious image for the fascinating and equally mysterious Toyen.
Lovely harmony of tone and light
my title is a kind of Dorica castra or exquisite corpse that I found interesting to stage the ironic dreamlikeness of surrealism
Ecellent Marc. Love the lighting efecct.
Thank you very much Gisela
excellent
Thank you very much
Xcellent !!!
Thank you very much
Simply brilliant image from a visual and technical aspect ..i'm not dialed in to your way of thinking, but for me its the " Every piece of art is a creation that allows for interpretation"....top notch work...!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart
I suspect that the title of the image is a pun that I don't get as it may require some fluency in French... or not. =)
As for the image itself, Da Vinci has always struck me as nearly photo realistice (especially the Mona Lisa) and I've learned Toyen is a surrealist and found the skull of joy painting you used here. I like the artist with the crystal ball. Perhaps she's sees past simple depiction of reality with the crystal? Certainly a joy to view even if I don't take away all that you have embedded in this! Thank you for sharing!
Molly
I like your interpretation. Thank you very much dear Molly
