Recently I've been watching some WW2 "authentic footage" series on Netflix and Curosity Stream, and I got inpired for some renders on that theme, actually regressing to when I was a kid and loved making plastic model kits, mainly WW2 planes :) So, here some Me-262 jetfighters are in for an attack on a group of B-17 bombers bound for some German targets. The crew on the bombers have been taken completely by surprise, both by the high speed of the fighters and the fact that they have come in with the sun in back. ------------------------------------------- Vue 2015 Infinite render, with finishing touches in PS. B-17 model from DAZ, Me-262 from Renderosity. The ground terain is Vue terrain work based on screendumps from Google Maps (Northern France). (I've made another version with a little gunfire, but...this is mainly to show some great planes in action. I may upload the other one as well, almost identical :) ). - Also, often when you see this type of renders, the planes are duplicates, with identical markings etc. I really hate that :) In here, they are all different (texture work in PS etc.).
