Description
When Doc Reynolds retired and handed over his veterinary practice to Phoenix, a lot of the farmers were skeptical to say the least. They had never seen a woman vet on a farm. She quickly proved herself and won them over. Now she divides her week between the office for small animals and “house calls” for larger ones. Today she is checking over a child’s big pet to see why the old boy is not eating. She finds a splinter of wood in his gums where he has been chewing on his stall. After removing it, she informs the young owner that Dapper Dan needs more exercise and attention. Ditch the Game Boy and ride the horse.

Your image is doused in rich red-tinged yellows, and the light on Doc R is bright and a real standout. I like how the horse reaches across the frame to meet her---how you brought it into the center of the piece. And I like her doctor-like tilt of the head as she studies it. A sweet image, because it's in an enclosed space but it feels very airy due to your bright and warm light. I like the green in her top too; it pops out from inside all those yellows, etc. A very sweet image with a really nice setup.
