The Sea of Glass Bones - Jane’s Diary
Throughout the Sea of Glass Bones there are many altars. Upon one of them is a flame, that burns blue and eternal. Some say it is a fiery fountain of Life - or Wisdom - or something precious that cannot be named.
Some of us believe it is the light of the formless Infinite - leaking into this world.
I’ve watched as sometimes a Traveler becomes one-with the altar - or maybe it is with the flame. Somewhere inside them springs up a blue flame fountain. Behind their eyes, dancing blue flames flicker in and out of view.
Once after one of these journeys, I woke up in the middle of the night with blue flames shooting out the ends of my fingers. But that was many years ago now, and I have never known what it means. I never saw anything like this again, but I do know I wasn’t dreaming.

This is wonder and very fascinating.
from having walked in your gallery many months, I wouldn't be surprised by blue flames coming out of your fingertips! That blue has a really primal presence, something from deep down. Your description is mystical and enticing...and the blue flame seems to be the creative center of it all, as if that was the progenitor for everything...your image is a beautiful layered vision, with a feeling of many panes of glass, like a hall of mirrors. The top portion is a glass palace, with beautiful rich hues (esp the reds and yellows, but also the blues and light greens, etc). The bottom is a beautiful crystal flower (glass crystal, or maybe mystical crystal), and the mid portion is almost a paisley of hues and reflections. And then you have these tall verticals in the background, which seem to give structure to your vision: a backing upon which everything can rest. And your sea is doused in rich deep greens, resulting in a luminous bright green band at the top of the image. This thing emerges out of the water like an aparition, and seems to carry great hidden energies inside. You work with water and reflections and glass-like surfaces beautifully. A very rich image and description to match.
