First try with a male character, the gorgeous Malek, from TwiztedMetal (link below). Just him, with a backdrop "Vikike's Tale - Mountains" (link below), and ElianeCK's Iray One-Click Lights, from DAZ.

Thank you! I need to do a tutorial on how to get that more realistic look, like skin details. Probably I the lighting? I have no clue with lighting, yet. I point and shoot, lol! I did find that I couldn't get any expressions poses to work on him; clearly I am doing something wrong... I think my next project might be Imani/Atlas, if I can capture the lighting well enough. :)
I think you picked a pretty good lighting I can see the details clearly in this lighting. Lighting really is about experimenting for me There's many lights to pick from and testing a bunch to see what looks better is what I tend to do. Expressions wont work right if they are for the Genesis 8 Male base they have to be for 8.1 to work correctly maybe that might be the issue with the expressions? You seem to be doing a good job so far keep up the good work my friend :)
Thanks so much; I do try different lightings - I think I am improving, lol! Good point about the expressions, yes, they were for G8, not 8.1 lol! Duh! Btw, I am coming for Solveig soooon! :)
