Bay continues telling Mab the secret story of Cubes and Kings: Olar Murtom, king of the Northern Tribes, walked into the Imperial chapel. It's colorful lighted walls fascinated him. Olar was determined to pray for world peace! "If these negotiations with King Loam succeed, our world will finally have an end to the wars and conflicts!" Olar thought. "I must not fail! I can only hope the creator; Lord God hears me and helps to make it happen." The glowing blue walls reflected onto his young face as Olar knelt and started to pray. "Great Creator! Hear your humble servant, Please!" Olar said out-loud. "Please help to make this dream of world peace and prosperity come true!" "IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!" A voice behind Olar shouted! Shocked and alarmed, Olar turned swiftly to see a huge, muscular giant of a man standing in the doorway. The blond-haired man stared at Olar with intense and glowing blue eyes. His powerful, muscular frame was illuminated in a strange, white light from the glowing leotard he wore! "Guards!" Olar shouted as he rose to his feet. "To my side!" "I have already dispatched your guards" The blond man said. "They were no match for my super strength! "Who are you? What do you want?" Olar asked. "I am not suprised you don't recoqnize me! I was dead for a long time." The blond man answered. "It's me! Lom! Lom Uhrain!" "Impossible! Lom died saving my life!" Olar responded, his face twisted in anger. "and he was only a boy when he gave his life for me!" "I am that boy! The Ancient Ones brought me back to life!" The blond man named Lom Uhrain answered. "Savante Tas aged me to what I would look like now, if I had lived all these years!" Olar was shocked! He stared at the man's face intently as Lom advanced towards him. "Savante Tas, The dreaded one!" Olar gasped. "She's just a myth!" "No, Olar. She and the Ancient One's are very real." Lom answered. "And I am the man who was your friend! I gave my life for you!" "Lom! Can it be?" Olar said as stepped backward in the aisle of the chapel. "You look like he probably would, if he had lived. But I just can't believe this!" "Do you remember the night you almost froze to death?" Lom asked. "I could tell you were dying. I was locked up with you in your Uncle's tower. I had been taken as a peace hostage. You had been starved by your uncle for so long, you had almost no body-fat. You were just a stick of a boy! I tried so hard to keep you warm that terrible night! The fire went out and you were freezing to death! I knew it was the end for you! I screamed and called for the guard. I begged him to help you. I even got down and kissed his boots and pleaded. He was so moved that he started a fire and wrapped you in his fur cloak! Together we rubbed your hands and feet and brought you back from the brink of death!" "It is you!" Olar gasped, with a look of shock on his face. "Lom! My friend!" "You don't understand, Olar!" Lom yelled. "They are controlling me! Savante Tas wanted you to know who am! She wanted you to know before I kill you!" Lom raised his arms up and reached for Olar's throat! "I can't control myself! I am trying to stop myself with all my might, but it's not working!" Lom cried. Olar raised his hands up in a defensive posture, but it was too late. Lom's powerful hands were already closing around his neck! "Stop! Lom! Don't kill me!"
