Description
In a snowy land without Amazon Prime, the Hippogryph Delivery Service is your best bet for two day shipping!
==AMY’S NOTES==
This is a scene I started a few years ago, mainly to play with adding snow to the castle, but it was kinda boring until the Hippogryph showed up! Actually, even then it was a little boring, until I ran it through Painnt and found the perfect filter for it. Many thanks again to rps53 for pointing me towards this awesome photo effects app for Mac!
Rendered in February 2022 using Firefly in Poser Pro 11 for Mac at 3200 × 1800 pixels. Art effects applied in Painnt. View full size on my blog.

SCENE: Fantasy Castle 2011 by LaurieS; Castle Grounds for FC2011 by Jack Tomalin; TerraDome2; Snow on castle & grounds by Snarly’s Snow Machine.

Beautiful composition. I love the storybook illustration vibe with filter.
Thank you! It takes some playing around with Painnt to find the right filter for each render, but when you find one and get the settings right, everything just pops! I esp. like how the colors turned out on the Hippogryph!
Perfect filter for sure!!!! A truly superb and extraordinarily fine image! Many many fine praises from me!!!!!
Nicely done - a great filter effect!
If you can’t get Owl deliveries, a hippogryph is a very grand alternative!
Owl's are great for mail, but when you order something large and heavy, a hippogryph is your best bet :-) Thanks for the comment!
Really nice and I think you've found your 'style.'
Thank you! I love how these art effects apps open up whole new worlds of possibilities for renders!
Beautiful scene and style to this
Wow! This has a really lovely, hand-drawn feeling about it. It could easily be an illustration from a fantasy or children's book. Thank you for sharing your work.
Molly
Thank you, Molly! I love the storybook illustration style and am so delighted that I can achieve that with Poser, since I couldn't illustrate a smiley face by hand :-)
What a superbly magical scene! The effect adds the perfect fantasy touch!
Thank you! It was kind of magical when I hit on this filter and adjusted the settings until the hippogryph's color popped! I've tried other art effects apps, but Painnt sometimes seems like magic with the results it can produce :-)
Fine fantasy scene. Nice use of color on the flying horse.
Love it!!!
I want a hippogryph delivered, too!!! ;)
Coming right up! Oh wait, are you sure your mailbox is big enough? ;-)
Very beautiful and lovely!
Oh this looks wicked with the effect over it.
Thank you! I went "wow" when I found the right filter settings to make the hippogryph's color really pop!
Très belle utilisation de ce filtre qui donne un effet relief très agréable.
