Very nice as always - especially the 'oh s--t' expression on the Soviet dude. Under the circumstances this could mean anything...reminds me of the old tale about Mongolian troops detaching light bulbs from lamps and inserting them in holes they'd made in walls expecting them to work...
It's not easy to escape the surrounding terror!

Putin is such a moron... There's a reason the USSR fell apart. He's driving down the same dead-end street. When you try to be the bully, it will eventually come back to bite you in the butt. I just hope this doesn't explode into WW 3 first.

According to today's news, he's already withdrawing his troops from Ukraine, and to me he's not an idiot but a clear-thinking fox who's always on the lookout! Since Syria I dont like him either!

WHen I first saw this image, I thought that the soldier was rescuing that woman. Then I thought: No, he's stealing that woman. Maybe he's going to rape her. The fact is, in war, there's no way to know what we're seeing: He could be doing either. But, from her terrified face, I think he's harming her. She looks like a captive.
You use an arch to isolate the man and woman. And we see a gutted city in the background (with soldiers who look very threatening). The foreground includes broken wooden beams---and you know, those beams look like the beams on the beaches at Normandy, on D-Day. They really do. You made this into a terrifying battle-front. A terrifying image, with a big emtpy city behind. More of the terrors of war.
(Do people realize how insane it is to glorify ancient Rome? or Alexander the Great? Or all medieval knights? These empires were brutal, they invaded whole countries, they terrified and murdered innocent civilians, and the stole food and money and gold, and they raped and pillaged. Some knights were truly great and humane; but others were monsters. We need to look at history with open eyes. "He who doesn't study the past is condemned to repeat it." Your images remind us of that.)
Yes, we need to look at history with open eyes to understand all about the ukrainien war, but most prefer to go through the world with their eyes closed, then they don't see the whole misery! Our history books all need to be rewritten. (Look at my new Avatar, because she speaks with you - Smile).
