the 'red windmill'...the original M.Rouge had a windmill on top, and it was a major center in the late 1800s....I love how you captured the dancers. While the can-can was made famous there, these dancers are right out of classic broadway! Really classy, Ute, I love the black outfits and the silver hat bands, and white canes. And their stances. And they stand in front of posters and adverts for shows. And in front of the lights...
Then, on the side, a man who looks like the theater manager. (Either that or he's a swindler, lol.) Great character, Ute. And I can tell you from experience, there are theater managers out there who are as swindling and devious as they get.....whoever that guy is, I love the way he looks! There's so much here I want to get to, but I end with this because I love your theatrical images. You turned the street into a stage, and your dancers are in perfect formation. Terrific, Ute. What an array of images you have. Be well and stay well---I hope you're doing well with everything!
