I just really wanted to render these ladies. I'm planning on getting onto issue two of the comic. I'm itching to get to it. I need more than two working brain cells. I'm thinking of trying out some software that does the layout. I did enjoy doing the custom layouts last time, but it was a lot of work and not always worthwhile. I can always do a custom layout every now and then, but I think using templates just makes sense. That said. I'm also considering changing formats a bit. Last issue, I went for a classic comic-book style format/page size. But. If I'm going to continue, then I should continue with the goal of distribution, right? Like, I want the thing to be read, and deviantart just ain't cutting it. So, I've got to decide if I try to get onto something like Tapas, or maybe open a Wordpress page? Hopefully I can land something that fits my next-to-no budget. (HA) That said, I might have to look in setting it up to be more cell phone friendly. More vertical. I might actually redo the entire first issue if I go ahead with this, not only to keep it uniform but as a good way of learning the best way to go about it. The software I'm trying also does text/thought boxes and that's the bigger attraction. Not only do those take a long time to do manually, but getting the text looking "right" was never my strong suit. Streamlining the process? Now why would I want to do that? Anyways, big decisions. I just couldn't wait to work with these ladies again. How long until they find themselves in this kind of position in the story? I don't know. This probably counts as some sort of spoiler. OR maybe it's just fanart. Just because I'm shipping them in my brain doesn't mean that happens in the story, right? (I mean... it probably will...) I'm also tempted to write a short story or something to go along with the comic. I'm a novelist after all, not a cartoonist!
