Description
From Andre Norton's 1959 classic novel (the first sci-fi book I ever read), telling of the adventures of the Navajo space ranger Hosteen Storm and his telepathic companions, an eagle, jungle cat and a pair of meerkats. This was made into a dreadful sword and a sorcery move (which seems nonetheless to have acquired a following), but the original concept is far superior, and quite ahead of its time (even if it has quiantly anachronistic touches like spaceship engines running on vacuum tubes!)...
(and apologies to you all for not keeping up with comments on your wonderful work... I have a VAST backlog to get through, and very little time atm but I'm nibbling away at it... as and when opportunity allows)

Norton is an icon...read this one too as a kid in the early seventies. Agreed, the movie was rather silly...scene looks good BTW :)

Your take on the Beastmaster is unique and unexpected. Great posing of everybody. I always wished she had written 20 sequels to this one. One of my FAVs. (LOVE the meerkats!!!)
