In an attempt to use some of the Christmas freebies and keep the creative juices flowing, I ended up with this. A bit gothic, a bit cyber, and all beautiful. The glowing stars? Why, those are gingerbread cookies! Just needed to be turned into a light source! I then duplicated it as an instance several times. Thanks Daz for giving us a fun mesh to play with! Her dangly earrings are also a Daz freebie, given some chrome shaders. Vanessa, of course, from Heatherly couldn't sit in my runtime for too long without being shown some love. She was certainly up to the task! I got the Space Runner outfit a LONG time ago for some reason or another. Probably deeply discounted. I happened to have a look at it, maybe thinking of doing something with the Shark jetbike or something, and saw it had some bikini options. That sparked a trip down a rabbit trail that ended here, with it's neon goodness. Now, other than the cookies, there's a single spotlight set fairly low. In order to bring the brightness up, and still leave the scene feeling dark, I reduced the shutter speed. This is a setting I really ought to remember more, as it is an elegant way of getting the light level where you want it. Of course, I've also got the bloom filter enabled, though the settings are mostly cut in half so it didn't overwhelm the scene too much. Topped off with a pose from Hameleon (also a Christmas freebie) and twiztedMetal's excellent eye textures so they have just the right amount of pop. Tattoos and black makeup and a sassy attitude, I doubt anybody has seen Vanessa like this! It's been a hellish week, but hey. Gotta keep soldiering on! (Watch me with my false cheer!)
