I love this! Some of these people are right out of a fairy tale. Great characters, and costumes. The two children in front are delightful, as is that violin player (in that wonderful cap). I also love the checkerboard dress and leggings on the violin player in the background. Also, the dancing cats, the balloons, and the happy couple looking on. (That must be Kelly and Cindy.) The green fence is a nice backing for the party, and those are wonderful houses back there. There's only one way this could never be in Chicago: If this were Chicago, everyone in your image would be FROZEN by now, lol. Without heavy coats and lots of scarves? They'd be ice-cubes! This is definitely not a Chicago New Year! I hope yours was lot warmer than ours was...This is delightful as always, Ute.
