Can you tell I’m not in the cheeriest of holiday moods? I’m just not feeling the holiday spirit much this year in part thanks to the fact that one of my front teeth broke last week due to stupidity and it completely killed what little was left of my self-esteem. So yeah, I don’t feel like going anywhere now where I can’t hide behind a mask including family dinners. I’ll just stay home and hide, thank you very much. I had trouble with the woman’s expression in this piece; probably because I couldn’t decide between having her express anger or sadness or disappointment. Maybe she’s expressing a little of all of those?

You've perfectly captured the feelings many of us have this Holiday season. With all the covid and other crap going on it's not easy to feel in a celebratory mood. Hope things improve for you, and 2022 is a far better year.
