Gamon Halt, the Overlord's deadly Right Hand, stood beside him, his arm gently pressed against Mab's shoulder. He had wanted to kill this young Cadet a moment before, but now he couldn't help but feel total love and joy in his presence. Mab was now fully outfitted in his dress uniform. Gamon looked him over and hid his admiration of the Cadet's appearance. "We forgot your gloves!" Gamon said with alarm. "You can't see the Overlord without them." Gamon hoped this excuse would give him more time with Cadet Mab. Gamon hated men and loved so many, many woman, but this energy emanating from the young man gave him a high that overrode any of his seething rage towards other males. "It doesn't MATTER," Mab replied. "At first I was confused, but now I think I know why the Emperor Overlord wants to see me!" Mab turned around and looked into Gamon's eyes. His mix of autism and social anxiety seared within him, burning his mind with fear, but he forced himself to look right into Gamon's rugged and frightening face. Mab's stare made Gamon feel as if he were having a out-of-body experience. The universe seem to beckon to him. Ecstasy pounded at his mind. Sweat trickled down his muscular body. "Thank you for caring about me, Sir!" Mab said. "We probably won't ever see each other again. This is the END for me!" "NO!" Gamon yelled. His senses were suddenly, violently yanked back into his cage of flesh and bone. His body throbbed with pain at the thought of this young man dying. "Don't say that! Don't you ever say that! NOTHING bad must ever happened to you!" Gamon noticed that tears were silently streaming down Mab's dirty, filthy face. "The filth on that beautiful, handsome face is my fault." Gamon thought. He had deliberately ordered the Skeleborg robot to bring the Cadet to the palace without having the chance to clean up after his field maneuvers. Gamon had no problems killing men for his Overlord, and he relished tormenting and hurting males, so it was a strange and weird experience for him as he raised his quivering hand and wiped away the dirt and tears from the Cadet's Face. Touching Mab's face was the most beautiful thing he ever felt. What could this young man have possibly done to anger Overlord Grell? "Why do you believe that the Overlord is going to harm you, Mab? " Gamon asked. "Will you tell me? Maybe I can help you. I am the Emperor Overlord's Right Hand." Mab turned and paused. Even talking to others was difficult for him on the best of days, but now? Still, He felt he had a story he needed to own up to. "Okay, Sir." Mab said. "I will tell you what I did. It started with something that happened to me a couple of days ago.........."
