I'm just here for a few comments, Jacomina, but I wanted to leave at least 2 or 3 comments. I know today---in Nederland---is your birthday. I can't do an elaborate upload for you now, but I can at least send my love and wishes to you. Your poppy reminds me a little of Georgia O'Keeffe's poppies. You manipulated this poppy into a big undulating explosion of light and power. The green patterns surrounding the poppy are like beautiful metal or melted glass. In fact, it's almost like a liquid-marble background. A flowing, pulsing, radiating version of a small beautiful flower. Beautiful work, Jacomina. And the poppy is like flame.
