Just another quick doodle throwing together different elements I have created/modified over the years. This is my first attempt to add snow to a scene using volume (lighting) effects. There doesn't appear to be a texturing module that measures distance from an active camera in Poser. I tried to improvise one that would control snow density into the distance, but it didn't work out that well. Val has a gift for someone special to her, but she wanted them to get it ahead of the holidays. She's very protective for a part time tease who doesn't kiss. Sorry, no nudity. Cheers!

Beware of a stranger bearing gifts. Maybe not this lovely lady though.

Well, I'm sure it's lovely whatever it is... And she certainly is! Nice one!

Very effective. It feels cold looking at it.

As I was rendering initially I realized Val was all bundled up for a summer like background. Even lowering the sun angle (long shadows) really did change the feel. So I spent a week playing with the volume effect linked to the sun. I had hoped it would also tint the air a little bluish but that did not occur.

In the end though I had to break the project into foreground and background renders as I also kept getting a blizzard indoors. I wanted Val to bring a little bit of snow in with her but like the Snow Queen.

Now I must spend hundreds of dollars renewing both my vehicle license AND my drivers' license. Yuck!

Happy Holidays!
