Description
She led her mech warriors across the bridge deep in the tunnel network of the elders under River Heights. She had harnessed the tech of an alien race, nearly as old as the elders. That alien race had melded technology akin to magic to the occult energies of the elders. She had dubbed the aliens the visitors and learning and extending what the visitors had done with technological control and amplification of the energy of the elders was her particular area of study.
Her accomplishments included the mech warriors and her own nanotech skin covering, no thicker than a coat of paint.
She called herself, "La Santa Muerte" after one of the supernatural entities of Santeria.
"They mocked my theories. They laughed at my research. The shall die like the insects that they are!"
Molly's art notes: Rendered in Poser 12.0.703 with the Superfly Cycles 2 rendering engine and tweaked a bit in Photoshop for a bit of gauzy glow. The character is based upon good ol' Victoria 4 using morphs by Tempesta3d and textures and other content by Cybertenko. Lighting is from emissions from the props, an envirosphere by Afrodite-Ohki and a single spotlight. The clothing is dynamic cloth which I usually don't use because it involves so many extra steps in posing but I must admit it looks very good. Getting it to drape in this pose about drove me nuts! I had to "nail" the capulet to her head with a cylinder prop to keep it from slipping off! The setting is by 1071s and the Skeletron Warriors are by Cybertenko.

like the slightly cartoon colours and luminosity of the characters against the formal background I think this is very well done and would suit cell overlays for creating an animation, one can easily imagine the characters moving along the bridge

I think the use of some atmosphere and DoF gives that feeling where the background is kind of washed La Sante Muerte really "pops" along with her colorful mech warriors.

That's a very insightful and delightful comment, my dear! I think we all lose sight of how much time someone can spend setting up, test rendering, tweaking and finally posting any picture. Someone the other day took issue with a comment of "nice" complaining that the product took 8 hours to produce. Now, I'm not that someone and I don't expect much from comments; the satisfaction is in the production of the work. That being said, I really appreciate such a nice somment! =)
