a really bold photo of these strange and beautiful mushrooms. The tops aren't really red---they're a pale red, or pink red---a most unusual color. And you caught the gills beautifully. Because of the extreme closeup, the leaves in the back look like huge slabs of rock, as if this were in front of the side of a mountain (made of slate). Beautiful, and it looks great full-size.
