Sorry for the long wait... I've been ludicrously busy over the last few weeks, and combined with no idea where to take the story, the whole project stalled slightly. I finally got it back on track this weekend, so here's the next installment. Hopefully it wont be another month till the next one!
On a geeky tech note, the science here is fairly accurate . The formula quoted by Cabinbot is the actual Einstein-Rosenberg one for a spacetime bridge, and the gobbledygook sounding description of what a wormhole does is actually taken from a physics text. In terms of the zero point energy, if memory serves, I think it was Richard Feynman who once calculated that a light bulb had enough zero point energy to vaporise the world's oceans....

Rendo fails to deliver a notification, yet again... beginning to think I am the only one ostracised by the site, lol, A lovely layout with the ship overlaying and then coming into the last cell, really like that touch and the story line continues to weave an entertaining web fo danger and derring-do. Well worth the wait :) 5+
