Description
I was getting ready to do a little work in the back yard, and when I opened the door this lovely young lady was looking at me. I grabbed my camera, and got a few photos of her. I let her browse a bit, and let her leave before I started my work.
I've been battling a bit of depression lately, and seeing this lovely doe made me happy.
Aside from my visitor, a few things have picked my spirits up, and are looking a good deal more positive for this selling / buying / moving adventure. Looks like I may get more for this place than I thought, and buying another one may not be as out of reach as I anticipated.
We did get some news that made us both a bit sad. Our awesome doctor that we've had for many, many years is retiring at the end of the year. We're happy for him, of course, but will miss him deeply. He's not only an outstanding doctor, but just a great guy with a heart the size of Texas. And I'm sure the last couple of years have been a 3-ring circus for him.
Just as an aside..... I'm pretty much going to be using the "Activity Feed" to catch up with everyone's art, and comment. The Ebots seem to have stopped working (again). If I miss anyone, my apologies in advance.
I am working on the next page in the TNA story, it just seems like there's so much other crap in my face and demanding my attention these days. But I'm still forging ahead.. Thanks for your patience, visits, comments, and support. You all are awesome!

Great capture. Glad that you're feeling better, but i guess your morale is on the up since we are more than a week later...
It's always such a pleasant surprise when a (preferably harmless) creature comes up close and says hello. I can never enjoy this sort of thing (apart from some stray cats), living as I do in highly urbanized Singapore...

LOL... We had a wind-storm the day before, and I was going out to clean things up when this little lady visited. That yard across the fence was next door. An elderly lady lived there alone, and didn't pay a lot of attention. A couple other neighbors and I would come over and try to help by cutting the front and back.
It doesn't look like that now, happily. She sold the house to one of those "We Buy Houses" places, and they've really cleaned things up. She was also a massive hoarder. They hauled 3 or 4 of those full-size mobile dumpsters full to the top out of that house!
