Lincoln Park, Chicago...and yeah, that's a barn...there are cows just out of frame (for all you cow fans)...

R.E.D......! Really true, Mark? I hadn't noticed it yet. lol! It's just a perfect R.E.D., the most perfect I've ever seen on a photoshot. Thereby white is really white here, I just love the combination of the trees, and all vertical and horizontal lines. This is a fantastic art expression, something static as poles, lines and wooden beams, and then that giant tree with its lively leaves. Bravo, this is so very surprising, Mark.

This is a true, unaltered photo? Wow, the red is amazing. The leaves are so crisp and clear and the barn (even without the cows) is a cool building; it's in such great shape. I really like the white door against the dark tree trunks. Everything in the scene pops!

lol...my camera was set too high: I don't remember if it was a saturation setting or just a longer open shutter, I have no memory...but it took in more color and light than usual; and instead of correcting it, I decided to leave it. So my postwork was to clarify and balance rather than tone down the shot. (That took me a long time, if I recall, because the reds were burning a hole through my ceiling!) Thank you as always for your wonderful responses, barb.

OK.... Looking at this, I'm ready to sit down to a nice, hot stack of pancakes drowned in REAL maple syrup, and REAL butter thanks to those bashful cows. This just screams "Beautiful, crisp fall day the way they used to look in Life Magazine" back in the day. This is classic, Mark! And red! 👍

You are right Mark. This photo is really RED but some leafs are green. This gives a very nice contrast. Very nice capture.
