La Femme Steps up to the Plate wearing a sarape and Tennis Shoes. She’s sure that if she has to slide into any base, the results won’t be pretty…. An Exposé, perhaps, but not pretty. She makes a note to fire her agent.
No pixels were hurt in this image, Except for the ones who mocked the Ump and taunted the batters on the opposing team. And the ones who got swept away when the Ump swept Home Plate. And the ones who were hanging out on the base line when La Femme slid into 3rd (Oh the embarrassment!!). And the ones who tripped the water boy in hopes it was actually Rum (it was not). And the ones who were inspecting the Catcher’s Mitt when the fast ball arrived. St Pixel’s is soliciting. Hopefully for doctors, but you never know!

Definitely a most impressive lighting, superb atmosphere, brilliant awesome render. Impressive the detailed smooth shadows and the bullet physics simulation looks fabulous, the cloth fits and folds perfectly.

while you don't say it, this too has the feel of a photo-shoot, even though you suggest she's really up to bat. Love the whole concept---you do a lot of high concept pieces and they're all very imaginative and creative. Love her outfit---not what one would expect of a batter! With that silk mesh on the bottom (well, some kind of fabric---I doubt ball players wear lotsa silk!), and those red shoes, and her heavy batting stance, and your halo backgound---a splash halo in a sea of beautiful soft greens, etc. You've got nothing else in the shot, so this really feels like a pose for a creative poster or magazine layout. Love it.
