So wonderfully done. I love the mixing of mediums you used. Lusty and tasteful. A most fun work and a grand dedication.
I want to comment on your most recent image, so I am skipping wildly---I'm going to have to come back soon, because there are all kinds of images I want to comment on that I couldn't comment on, due to time. (I'm over an hour, and have to rest my arm!)
You have a very Roman theme here, and yet the image feels like a 17th to 19th century etching---which is pure charm. I love the shading, and the pencil feeling. You've "irised" the image---do you know the term? (In photography, photographers "irised" an image by closing the shutter around the image, thus imitating the action of the eye's "iris". You've done that here. It gives us the feeling that we're looking at this scene through a key-hole.)
Lots of detail (roman). And the couple stands out due to your strong blacks and whites. Really fine work with this medium. The lovers look very, very happy!
Bravo, the black and white actually adds to the romance.
