Dorotea dropped to the diamond position and considered her unconscious opponent. She sighed. This was supposed to feel good. She had dominated a bully from her childhood who had continued to be a vexation into her adulthood. Yet, the victory was hollow. "I'd best stay with you until you come around, Anzhela." She considered the childish reasons for the duel. "You can call me 'Dot' if you must. I'd prefer Dorotea but it's time for me to grow up. Your power over me is at an end." This is picture part of my first series featuring Dorotea for whom I plan many adventures. She is the older sister of Professor Van Humbeek the paranormal researcher and obviously not as restrained.
