Een prachtige compositie Mies, rechts boven is mijn favoriete foto !!
The Netherlands is such a gorgeous place to be! I've been there once cycling around one week (from Utrecht, Gouda, the Hague all the way up on the west coast until Alkmar then over to Enkhuizen and down via Hoorn, Edam to Amsterdam) and it was soo great! Lovely places I fell in love with Delft), friendly people and easy to be with the bike! I guess i have to do this again once in a while.
I'm jealous of FurNose, lol...I've never been to The Netherlands...
This is more of a 'straight' montage: And you've used some very autumnal photos, with rich autumn hues. The top-left photo is bathed in autumn colors and sunlight. A beautiful home over a beautiful bridge. The lower left photo is a church surrounded by a "waterfall" of autumn foliage and trees. The open field is a fine contrast to the trees, The lower right is bathed in sunlight, with placid sheep. A pastoral scene. (Reminds me of Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony, the 2d movement.) The top right photo is an iconic sight---a Dutch windmill. We don't have those in the States. And the center---I don't know what that row of pickets is, but it makes a fine center pattern, leading to a gentle village/town. A very loving montage of images, and it makes me want to be there...
