Description

Superfly version of an earlier post. Laura based character using Le Femme Pro texture nodes. Started to get serious in using Superfly rendering in prep for upgrading to Poser 12. The latest version of Poser 11 is much better at converting textures in Firefly to Superfly than the initial version of Poser 11. The biggest stumbling block I've come across is in how point and spot lights render in Superfly. In Firefly you can set a max distance for the lights and in Superfly you have to change the propagation to inverse square and dial down the light intensity to limit the light distance. Fortunately, the area lights in Poser 11 seem to behave like my original point lights in my Firefly render. I haven't yet done much in Superfly b/c it's slow on my Mac, but in Firefly you can change the attenuation of a point light to inverse square (and lower the intensity) to achieve a similar effect. Just tossing that out there for others still using Firefly! It's a cool scene, with the way the light falls across the character!
