In truth, my first thought was Bene Gesserit.
Oh, mercy! This is magical in every way! She has such an almost demented look of concentration. Everything works here....everything!
She is great in every way.
picking up where I left off (last time)...a woman transformed by her inner yearning and by amazing colors and costume. (That stuff crawling down her arms---amazing. It's organic, crawling, and also like translucent shells or stones.) I'm with Rod that I wouldn't wanna upset this lady, as her fingers are really fierce, and those nails are probably registered with the dept of defense...(well, and her blue lips and general skin tone indicates she may have contact with other worlds). You captured a state of deep concentration and yearning, she's reaching out to something way beyond the frame, the portrait is all immersion and grasping...it's very powerful stuff. (She's definitely 'possessed'.) And the background has a very faint halo or burst, as if this is a moment of worship. Very strong and expressive.
