If they ever reboot this show, I'm hoping for a female lead.
And MANY points to you if you recognize this gender-bent character!
Just a doodle. This is day three of a migraine - and this was the best I could do today.
I get vaccinated tomorrow, so hopefully that goes well. I'm going to treat myself to a good burger afterwards. And hopefully manage to push through the migraine enough to drive safely. (Literally, nobody I know would give me a ride.)
Nothing too special, but kinda fun anyway.
I kept myself from using up a credit I have to have a friend model a new sword prop. I figure if I want to do more, then I should just learn how to model it myself. Artist credit below, as requested for use. Yeah, I know the texture is a little *meh* but it had only one surface zone assigned and I didn't feel like going through it to make it better.
This is Sonia, with Sahira 8's skin, and Royce hair, recolored using Fuseling's new Hair shader pack
Floor is provided by FG's pirate cabin, with all walls/items removed to somewhat simulate the top deck of ship. I hope.
Rather than trying to fit a design on two side of the shirt, and hoping it lines up, I opted to go for a phoenix design. If I get more passionate about it, I may go through the extra effort. Today was more about distracting from the migraine than anything else.
Overall, I like the result and I hope those you know the original source will recognize who she is meant to be.

It was short-lived, sadly. One of the last Hanna Barbara, if I recall correctly. I didn't miss an episode. I even convinced mom to let me stay home half a day one time in kindergarten so I could watch a marathon on Cartoon Network.
A very intense but fascinating character! Such a determined look! She would make a very formidable opponent in sword play I believe! I have no idea who she is since I have never been into gaming or a lot of other things, lol, so I will just enjoy the art and compliment you on your fine artistic skills. I'm outraged no one would give you a ride to get your covid shot. What a terrible world we live in! Hope your migraine goes away and that you start feeling better soon! Many fine kudos on all your works!!!!!
That's fine. I'm not expecting many to know, but I do hope anyone who has seen it will find her familiar. (Even gender bent.) I worked hard on it... grin Yep. One shot down, 28 days and I'll be superman.

Fine work, and the sword looks great. Not a bad place to start, adapting things you already own, it should give you a good basis to work from when it's time for you to make some unique models.

Thank you. Working on the whole "feel better" thing. I really like this combo of stuff, so I might just do something more with her. She manages to capture that whole warrior princess look, at least I think.
And I just now realized she looks a lot like ANOTHER princess/pirate from a certain long-running Nintendo franchise... (Lol.)
Anywho, I'll spill the beans. Check out the old cartoon "Pirates of Dark Water."

Thanks! The original character from the cartoon had a ponytail mullet. Sadly, I did not have such a hairstyle in my inventory. But, I think she end up looking really good. Maybe we'll just call it modernization and leave it at that. Thanks for the feedback.

Grr! Some people have no shame! I drove, but I've got an old beater of a truck and parked it next to a Mercedes that clearly had a suitcase in the passenger seat, so I knew nobody would break my window.

Had our shots last weekend, and went with a long-time friend yesterday for a great dinner out (first time in MONTHS). They had a French-dip cheeseburger that was to DIE for! I'm still full!

Thanks. It hasn't been a picnic this week, that's for sure. But, I keep pushing forward anyway. If I stopped just because of the railroad spike shoved into my brain, I wouldn't get anything done.
