Description
Now, the Phantom is on catapult. JBD is erected, flaps lowered, forward gear fully erected and so the Phantom has more AOA at take off than usual. The catapult officer gives last orders, service men control the briddles and then the throttle can be pushed forward to give the Spey engines full power...

The British F-4K and F-4M Phantoms had Spey engines, not Olympus. Your image is still a great depiction of the Phantom that brought back air-show memories from my teens.

Lots of memories with this one. I flew Phantoms off the Midway. Really nice. You even have the holdback which most people miss. Great work.
