This is an update of an older Atlantean Seer - I wanted this Seer to be beautiful, instead of so “different” like the original version.. To easily view the older version, just click “Albums” above this picture, and choose the Atlantis Album. I have made the text a bit shorter this time.
One of the Underground Shamans
On the ocean floor vents leading to the earth's core send up heat and gases. Islands of unique undersea life, rich and fecund, develop around them. In such an area, Atlantis was nurtured.
The great underwater palaces of Atlantis were built over these vents, and it is said that this natural heat, in otherwise icy and unfriendly waters, led to a great evolution of beings and culture.
Anthropologists have surmised that this stablization of environment allowed the Atlanteans' bodies to focus bio-energies in less survival-oriented functions, such as their long rumored abilities of telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation, and the precognition abilities of their legendary Seers.

You have rally a great series of portraits and characters
the earlier seer is more exotic, more from a truly different world...but I wonder if this one isn't the same one, only appearing to us as more 'human', more 'normal', so we're more receptive to her presence. Just a fantasy...A beautiful combination of golds and olive greens, and emerald greens and rust tones, etc. You have rich but beautifully 'rusted' palettes from time to time, suggesting aging, patina, the patina of age and wisdom. The elaborate headdress, hair, horns, and flowing forms coming out of her cheeks and reflecting through her gown, make her a flowing figure, or better, like she picks up the flow of the universe itself. Again, she stops for a moment to acknowledge you, peacefully and un obtrusively, after which she'll just dive back down and go about her business...Your evocation of the ocean's universal depths in her flowing, serene form is palpable, as if her form lets us view a piece of the ocean's infinite variety before she submerges and disappears. So the onlooker on calm waters can say, "the whole universe is contained in these waters...imagine the secrets blooming in there..." Another beautiful vision.
