Wooooooooooow this work is excellent I love this.
The armchair should have a different texture and much less bump to look more shiny and soft,try a leather texture map for instance,the lighting is very nice,nice overall work..
I like the modelling and the textures, but I feel there are too many colors in this image. It would have been even better if you sticked to a tighter color scheme. The purple and the red don't match.
I originally considered doing it monochrome, actually. I think the piece would work particularly well in sepia tones, however, since it was for a cover contest, I opted for a more colorful approach. I like the way it turned out but will probably go in and rework it sometime in the future... Who knows?:)

Thanks. Unfortunately, it only placed 7th in the issue 4 contest. But at least they used for thier subscription renewal cards so it did see print there at least. I'm very tempted to convert the cthuloid male in the image to a Poser figure for the marketplace. Hmmm....
