One of the Underground Shamans
The Wisdom in this world has developed a non-technological technology.
Augmenting their personal Gifts with crystal energy, they are able to maintain communications with worlds throughout the Multiverse - communicating with those in other dimensions who don’t even believe in other dimensions.
Since they are one of the advanced races, their communications with other worlds frequently result in inspiration and innovations there.
There have always been many people on our world who have received inspiration from these Shamans, though in our world this interchange often occurs in the dreaming mind, where we seldom “see” them in their true form.
The Gifted in our world often perceive these Shamans as Helpers, or “Spirit” Guides.

a friend, years ago, had a grandmother who was a shaman in the mountains of mexico. Sometimes, when my friend had great inspiration, she'd call her grandmother (miles away), and her grandmother would say: "See---I'm working through you even when you don't know it..." When someone asked my friend, "do you think your grandmother is just lying to give you a feeling of magic?" my friend said: "No---because her grandmother is working through her..." You've created a being who looks both organic and like a technological 'receptor'. He/she has all kinds of embedded forms that look like they're connected to a mythic motherboard, and a little blue dome on his/her head that could be both a beacon and a receptor. I love the screen in the background---behind your (handmade) crystal, it's so strangely technological, but you also made it look so organic. And those trees have great feelers and roots, as if they're imitating the receptor energy going on around them. (They're reaching out.) Great blue-green night light, and a purple tinged universe behind...A number of your shaman figures look like they've been kind enough to leave their activities for a moment and come forward to pose for you, long enough to give you a glimpse...then, when you're done, they go back to their work once again. And of course these shamans all come out of you. Beautiful work as always, Rose.
