Description
Brassai's night photography of Paris in the 1930s has inspired me for years. With great happiness, I was able to collaborate with my good friend Daggerwilldo on a piece of artwork inspired by Brassai's photos. The set in question is Stonemason's "Streets of Steampunk." You'll have to ask Dag any questions you might have about the characters he used. Collaborative artwork using Daz isn't that common, but we are proving it is possible.
You can visit Dag's posting and access his gallery more easily using this link:

Post-processing in GIMP.
Enjoy!

Very well done, Mysterio... maybe a bit of film grain, but that's just a ver slight thought :)
Glad you liked it! Brassai's photos were not very grainy, considering when they were made, so I didn't ramp up the grain here.
This was a wicked fun project, spoken in my Best Bostonian accent. You rocked the city, the b&w concept, and the overall layout and lighting. Thanks for giving me a shot. Very nicely done.
I could not have done it without you, my friend. I think much of this render's appeal is due to your input, vision, and skills. Thank YOU!
Great work on the reproduction Dan, kudos :D
Thanks, it was a fun collaboration to work on. Didn't feel like work, actually, which is why it was so much fun!
This is awesome; dark, brooding, and mysterious. I like it.
Thank you so much!
Awesome, love it
