I tried to apply the XL Manager, but couldn't.

Start up Poser, go to File --> Run Python Script... and browse to Runtime - Python - poserScripts - ScriptsMenu - Dimension3D and select XL_P8.pyc this time.

I did all the of the above, but when I get to XL P8.pyc, it takes me to a View and Track Your Downloads window. Open it/save do nothing.
Oh, you sound defeated. Please don't give up Sue it should work and you'll will feel sooooo good when you get it running. I think I have P9 - I'll try it this weekend and let you know if it worked.

Stick with it. You’ll get there. Try getting one of the folks that got it working on the phone and go step by step. Having debugged many a issue it is really easy to miss just one little detail.
