Description
I've got this stabbing pain right through my skull.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, I have a phone appointment with the dietician to possibly, I think, what I will be eating and, scarily enough, I won't be eating for the rest of my life. I personally hope that what I can't eat are turnips, rutabagas, parsnips, and Pickles of any kind. Not eating those items won't break my heart at all.
I'll let everyone know this and what transpires with my preop appointment. Probably on Saturday. In the meantime, I have begun self-isolation.

You'll have to give up corn, unless it's been ground into a flour. (So, still tacos!) Now, what you get to fill that taco with... well, that's between you and the dietician.
I knew someone who had to give up all food except baby food. I don't think I could handle it myself.

You know... I actually love a nice helping of mashed turnips with a big ol' gob of butter (REAL butter, not that s##t that comes in a plastic tub) all melt-y in the middle of it! I told Jo that, and she said - and I quote: "Eeeeeewwwwwwwwwww.." No taste for gourmet offings at all... (shrugs).
Hopefully you won't feel like your shiny friend here, Mike! You have our prayers for an acceptable outcome from the dietician, and an awesome outcome from the procedure.

Have you tried Trepanning Its an ancient practice. If I understand it right, you take a chisel and and a hammer.... Just kidding. Hang in there and hope you can get some relief soon!
